Staffed and available during Sunday worship and special events as noted

Bring the little ones to the nursery while you participate in worship.  Our caring volunteers will take good care of your infant or toddler, leaving you free to worship and pray, or take part in special services.  Our nursery is clean, friendly, and kid-approved!  Visiting for the first time?  Just ask an usher or greeter to take you and your child to the nursery!  Nursery care is available for newborns through age 2.

Our children's choirs are the perfect place for children to learn to joyfully worship God through song.  The children share their songs with the congregation during special services throughout the year.

GOD'S LITTLE SUNBEAMS is for ages 3 years through Kindergarten

CHILDREN OF GOD is for children in 1st through 3rd grade

Worship & Bible fun for the little ones!  The kids start out in the sanctuary with the whole family, and after the children's message early in the service, they can go to Children's Church for worship and bible learning that is fun, active and just for kids!  The children rejoin their parents as the worship service closes, so the whole family is together for the benediction.   Jr. High youth help lead Children's Church.

Vacation Bible School in Mackinaw Illinois is a special event for children of all ages!  MUMC teams up with our neighbor church, the Mackinaw Christian Church, to put together a program of learning, playing and growing in the Lord for children from Kindergarten age up to 6th grade. 

Once again partnering with Mackinaw Christian Church, MUMC will taking kids ages 4 years through entering 6th grade on a high-seas adventure!  Crew members are needed for this voyage, and don't worry - we'll provide training to help you find your sea legs!  Volunteer crew training will be held Sunday, June 13, from 4:00 - 5:30pm.

Can church actually be FUN?  Take a look for yourself!

Sr. High Youth involves 7th-12th graders on two or more weekends a month. You never know what these teens will be up to each week. We involve our dads with a raft building challenge, head to the Winter Jam Concert, or serve 250 homeless for lunch on Saturday at the Peoria MUMC. Check us out to find what we are up to this month!
